In this episode Joy and Laura break down season 4 episode 20 “The Rapture”. Sam and Dean find Castiel unconscious in some rubble after what looks like a huge fight between the angels. When he wakes up Cas is gone and his human vessel Jimmy Novak is back in his body. Sam’s addiction to demon blood also continues to spiral out of control.
We discuss whether Sam acting like a vampire is hot or not, and the parallels with Sam’s blood drinking and addiction; Laura has some questions about how the demon blood actually works, and about Ruby’s motivations; and we also discuss our thoughts about Jimmy and Amelia as characters.
