Dave Fielding is the author of Into the Darkness: A Journey of Love, War, and Emotional Freedom. Dave served in Iraq, Syria, and elsewhere as a U.S. Army Green Beret and operative with multiple three-letter intelligence agencies. While serving in Iraq and Syria, he was involved in the raid to kill Abu Bakhar Al Baghdadi, the leader of IS*S and the strike that killed Iranian Revolutionary Guard commander Qasem Soleimani. He now lives in his native Massachusetts, where he is a health and wellness coordinator for the Essex County Sherriff’s Department.
