At the halfway point of the Book of Revelation, John hears the last trumpet. The biblical witness tells us that the last trumpet ushers in the end of history. But in heaven, it's a different story. In heaven, the last trumpet ushers in a worshipful declaration of Jesus's reign established forever, his wrath doled out upon the wicked, and his reward granted to those who fear his name.
