In chapter 7 of the book of Revelation, we are introduced to a large group that number 144,000. The identity of these 144,000 has been hotly debated throughout the history of the church. While there may be a lot of debate about their identity, the message they teach us is clear - the people of God are sealed by God. Regardless of who these people are in Revelation 7, the greater biblical message is a guarantee that God secures his children by sealing them with the Holy Spirit.
