One important lesson we have learnt during this crisis is the fact that we realize without doubt that we are in the last days. As a result re-prioritizing the important things in our lives will mean taking into consideration the things that have eternal value. The things that would count if Christ should appear today. This is why Paul, by the spirit is charging us to be Instant In season. To be instant in season means to be urgent and to be forceful. It is important that as people of God we are urgent with the things of God and forceful with the things that have eternal value. Paul was a man who was forceful and urgent in season and out of season. Paul always made sure wherever he found himself and whoever he encountered in life he would share the eternal message. He shared the gospel in every city he found himself. When he was imprisoned and he could no longer travel Paul wrote letters to encourage, to correct and to guide many in Corinth, Ephesus, etc. The missionaries that brought the gospel to Africa, India and China had to be forceful against all odds. Today we are forceful and urgent when it comes to our salaried jobs, career, parties, house warnings. But we have excuse for the things of God. How forceful are you in winning souls?
