Saint Leopold Mandic, born in 1866 in Dalmatia, Croatia, overcame physical limitations and health challenges to become a beloved Franciscan friar and a renowned confessor and spiritual director. Despite suffering from a severe hunchback and being of diminutive stature, Leopold possessed a towering faith and a deep desire to serve God and His people.
Call to the Priesthood
