Set to a backdrop of upbeat melodies, we journey to the bustling town of Casoria, where Ludovico, once known as Arcangelo Palmentieri, pursued his craft as a cabinet-maker. In 1832, he answered a higher calling, joining the Friars Minor and embracing the name Ludovico.

Ordained as a priest, Ludovico's teachings extended beyond theology to encompass subjects like chemistry, physics, and math. Yet, it was a mystical experience that ignited his passion for helping the poor and sick, inspiring him to establish dispensaries, schools, and shelters for the marginalized.

Ludovico's boundless love for others led to the creation of two religious communities—the Gray Brothers and the Gray Sisters—dedicated to continuing his legacy of mercy and compassion.

As he faced his final illness, Ludovico's unwavering faith shone brightly, leaving behind a powerful testament to the enduring power of love and devotion.
