Description

Host Peg Edquist talks with Jim and Sandy Pape, founders of the Washington House Inn and the Cedar Creek Settlement. Hear about the early beginnings of Cedarburg’s foray into preservation, and how some of the buildings were headed to be demolished and turned into gas stations. Jim isthe founding member of the Cedarburg Landmarks Commission and Sandy, a visual artist, was on the first board of the Cedarburg Cultural Center and primary founder of the Plein Art event, still going strong since today.
