This week: Meet local musician Kyle Shelstad from the nationally-touring band Barbaro. As the songwriter, lead singer and founding member of the band Barbaro, Kyle and his band have skyrocketed to national acclaim.The band released their first album in 2018. In 2021 they were one of only ten selected American groups the 2022-2023 Music Abroad program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. The program took them to Qatar, Turkey and Bulgaria.
