Hi, everybody. Sam here to 18 of 30. We are just on the other side of halfway. So glad you're here again. If you've been on this journey with us, or if this is your first time coming across our information, so glad you found us.
Safe Heart Connections is an online community group of women. That are working on learning to love ourselves more fully. And by default, our life improves and we get to make connections along the way in the community. So I'm so glad you're here for day 18. And so our affirmation for today is
I attract positive and loving relationships into my life that reflect my own self worth. When we're talking about self love, there's several different selves that come together to create self love and self worth is one of those. So self worth is different than self love, but you need self worth to have self love.
That make sense?
Being able to attract positive and loving people into your life, that definitely is a reflection of what you believe you're worth. So that's a wonderful affirmation for today. And our self love task is perform an act of kindness for someone else. Nurturing your sense of compassion.
A lot of times people think that self love means you're being selfish or you don't think about anybody else, but , that's not the case. When you love yourself and you're able to keep your cup full, then you have the ability to help and give in ways you might not be able to otherwise. And so if your cup is full, Today, I would say do something perform an act of kindness for someone else.
If your cup is still not full and you're still needing to work on filling your own cup, I would say do an act of kindness for you. Get it to where your cup is full. When your cup is full and you're able to pour out of the overflow of your full cup, that's when beautiful things happen. All right. For your self love journal prompts, I want you to just write about that.
What did that feel like? How did you help? Did you help someone else? Did you show yourself kindness ? And what did that look like? And how did that feel? Taking the time to document this and actually write down these things so you can go back and look at them later, it really is part of the healing process.
So I encourage you, as I'm telling you about these journal prompts, for you to actually take a moment to write them down. Hope you're having a great day, and I will look forward to seeing you on Day 19.
