Hey, Sam here for day 19 of 30 of creating a life of self love. And I am so glad you're here today. Safe Heart Connections is an online community group for women that are working on learning to love ourselves more fully. And by default, our life gets better because we love ourselves and we get to make connections along the way in the community, which is a beautiful thing.
Each day for 30 days, I'm going through and doing an affirmation, a daily task and a journal prompt, posting it on social medias and in the community. And for those of you that are in the community and you're watching this and you're hearing me say what Safe Heart Connections is. Yeah, I know, you already know, and this is just the best way for me to do this so that I can create the video once and use it on social media to help everybody else in my social world learn what safe heart connections is.
I'm so glad you're here, whether you're in the community, whether you're watching on social media learning to create a life of self love is probably one of the best things you can do because without having that, I Not much else is going to work very well in your life. At least that's what I believe.
So here's our affirmation for today. I I celebrate my achievements, both big and small and acknowledge my worthiness of success. I think that a lot of times as women, we focus on celebrating everybody else. And when we do something really great, oh, it's not that big a deal. It's not that big a deal. And it's just what I do.
Being able to celebrate your achievements, whether they're big or small, and just acknowledge that you are worthy of success. Even if you don't have something to celebrate right now, maybe you're looking back and you're like, okay, I don't have a lot to celebrate. First of all, I would challenge that you probably do.
Learning to focus on the good things in life will help you learn to see more good. And so that will probably help with that.
Your self love daily task is to reflect on a challenging situation from the past and identify lessons learned.
Some people talk about a challenge and they're like, either you won or you learned. You won, you did great, or you learned something. And so even if it's a challenging situation, there is something to be learned from it. I don't know that I actually believe that there's always a silver lining.
There are some things in life that I've experienced that I'm like, I don't know that I can find a silver lining and. I still learned from it. Maybe that's the silver lining, just thought of that. Take a moment to reflect on a situation that maybe was challenging and what you learned from it, and then dig in on the journal prompt, just write down something that you learned from that experience.
And then did you actually show self compassion? What kind of resilience did you have? What kind of self compassion did you have for yourself? What kind of compassion did you have for other people? And just take the time to write down a couple of things that you learned about it. Because I truly believe when you write things down, as my mama says, when you write it down, you make it real.
And so if you're writing down what you learned. about an experience. It could turn something from a challenging situation to a learning experience instead. So I'm so glad you're here and I'll see you on day 20. Have a great day.
