Hi there. I am so glad that you are here for day four of 30 of creating a life of self-love, and whether you've watched the first three videos or not, I am so glad you're here. You can go back and check those out. They're on my channel here, so you'll have access to go back and get caught up if you'd like.
If not, just move forward from where you're at right here today. And so my name is Sam. I'm the community host and founder of Safe Heart Connections. We're an online community group for women, and we help women learn how to love themselves more fully, which by default improves their lives, and they get to make connections along the way.
We're on a 30-day journey here of going through an affirmation, a task, and a journal prompt to help us do just that to create a life of self-love. And so let's go ahead and dig in for day four. Our affirmation for today is: "I trust in my ability to overcome challenges with grace and resilience." I trust in my ability to overcome challenges with grace and resilience.
One of the things about self-love, before you love yourself, most of the time, you don't trust yourself. And that's because you haven't kept your promise to yourself, you haven't kept your promise to other people in your history of being good to yourself is not trustworthy. So that's a beautiful thing that comes when you learn to love yourself, and that's trust, and it starts by trusting you.
And so to be able to trust my ability to overcome challenges with grace and resilience, that will definitely mean you are well on your way of creating a life of self-love. And then our task for today, just go out and do some physical activity. You can do it in your place where you live. You can go outside, yoga, dancing, walking, swimming, anything.
Take a few minutes for a physical activity that you enjoy and do that thing. Because a lot of times we say we're going to, and then we don't because something else comes up because we're not making ourselves a priority. And so today I would encourage you, do something that's good for your body. And just because you enjoy doing it.
Our self-love daily journal prompt for today, I want you to consider a negative self-belief or something you've been carrying. How can you reframe that and make it be something that's more supportive or empowering? One of the things I heard from an author that I follow is he was talking with someone and they were saying that they were a bad writer.
like a storyteller. They were working on learning how to do something new. And he said, how about you just change the word bad for new? So reframing it to where you're new at something instead of bad at something. Maybe that could be it. Maybe you're a new parent or you're not bad at eating healthy.
You're just new at eating healthy. You're not bad at creating a life of self-love, you are new at creating a life of self-love. So what negative self-belief do you have that you've been carrying with you for a long time? How can you reframe that and change it to something positive that will actually empower you?
And so just remember, we're going through this for 30 days. To create a life of self-love at the end of this, you'll be able to actually get the journal I'm putting together on Amazon or a digital copy, and then you can go through this over and over again because every time you do it, I think you'll learn something new about yourself and creating a life of self-love is not just a one-time thing.
