Description

Courtney Lindsey shocked the world this past weekend in Nairobi Kenya with his 19.71 performance in the 200m Dash, just edging out World Bronze medalist Letsile Tebogo of Botswana. This comes off the heels of Lindsey’s 19.88 at the Tom Jones Memorial a week prior.

Though these performances may come as a shock at the top of 2024, Lindsey is no fluke having made team USA last year to the Budapest World Championships in the 200m. All throughout 2023 he also ran times of 19.85, 19.86, 1988 and 19.94, proving that he was a consistent world class sprinter.

As we look forward to the 2024 Olympic year, Lindsey has his eyes set on making team USA once again, not only in the 200m, but possibly the 100m as well. And considering what we have seen him do around the curve in his races, could we see him run 3rd leg on Team USAs 4x100m in Paris as well?
