Logline: A woman pushes her reluctant boyfriend to open up about his past, but recoils when he reveals his sex addiction and infidelity.
Episode Summary:
Tamika presses Kai to disclose his background after catching him in lies. Kai shares that his mother abandoned him as a child and he became a bully. In his 20s, childhood trauma contributed to Kai's alcoholism, sex addiction and ultimately cheating on his wife.
Though Tamika insisted on knowing, she now feels uncertain about Kai's character. Hurt, Kai breaks up with her. Tamika apologizes for overreacting and asks him to prove he's changed. Kai agrees to try rebuilding trust.
