MP: The person who genuinely loves God WILL hate the world.
True Christians despise this world seeped in sin by hating their sin. True Christians "hate" the things in this world in comparison to the worth of our Lord Jesus. But let's focus most not on negative: "hate the world" but on "love God!" Fix your eyes on Jesus, trust in Him, and use your life to serve him.
