Today we discuss how to teach conversation skills. We discuss what prerequisite skills should be in place before getting started, and how to help extend conversations using visual cues, modeling, and reinforcement. We also touch on the social aspect of communication such as eye contact, understanding nonverbal cues, and appropriately interrupting.
