- Burj was previously a consultant dentist for the British Antarctic Survey Medical Unit and is a faculty member at World Extreme Medicine as well as being a tutor for the International Diploma in Expedition and Wilderness Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
- He also teaches on the MSc in Extreme Medicine at Exeter University and is the resident expedition dentist for AdventureMedic .
- He is also excited to be contributing to the new edition of the Oxford Handbook of Expedition and Wilderness Medicine, which if you don't already know is an invaluable companion to have when out on expedition!
