“We Suffer more in imagination than in reality.” 🔥

- Seneca, Roman Stoic philosopher.

Two things I say to myself when I notice anxious feelings arise are: 💬

  1. “We do not borrow suffering.”
  2. “Physically I am okay.”

Oftentimes, I find myself suffering “imagined” troubles anticipating them before they come (if even at all). 💭

Additionally, I find myself sometimes focusing on the worst that can happen instead of the best that can happen.

I have also found that these feelings typically come when I am “overthinking” in my head about:

  1. Lacking confidence in my ability.
  2. Not having my priorities straight.

I use this as a cue to remind myself that: 😊

  1. I am not physically in pain right now and I’m okay so everything is okay and will always be okay.👍🏽
  2. I immediately simplify tasks in my mind to one step at a time. Making one decision the best version of myself would make. 💯
  3. I immediately believe in my abilities based upon hard things I have overcome before because this is who I am. ☺️

MUCH LOVE!❤️
