This week Matt watched one of Tiberi's favorite films, Silence. Directed by Martin Scorsese and released in 2016, Silence is a historical drama about the suppression of Christianity in 17th-century Japan.
A quick note: the 26 martyrs of Japan were not all missionaries. 9 were foreign missionaries, and 17 were Japanese practitioners and altar boys.
