Description

Dr. Nima Naghshineh, a plastic surgeon based in Pasadena, California, was intrigued by the medical field early on in his life. As a son of Persian immigrants, he moved with his family to the United States at the age of five. He didn’t speak a word of English, but he adjusted quickly through watching American TV shows like Family Matters. His family settled in Washington DC, which, next to Los Angeles, has the second highest population of Persians in America, many of whom were physicians and surgeons. The sense of confidence and respect those doctors, especially surgeons, garnered fascinated Dr. Nima from an early age. It became an inspiration and catalyst for a long educational journey that culminated with him opening his own plastic surgery practice.
