Growing up we all wanted to be something. A movie star, an astronaut, a leader, or even a professional athlete. However, aside from just wanting to be someone big and important, our younger selves probably didn’t realize the influence high profile roles like those could play on others. With that said, today’s guest, we feel, understood the influential role he worked hard for, achieved, and now utilizes is someone to be highlighted and celebrated outside of his accomplishments on the football field.
Bronson Kaufusi was born in New Jersey while his father, Steve Kaufusi, played for the Philadelphia Eagles. After his father’s NFL career, the family moved to Utah, where Steve coached at the University of Utah and BYU for over two decades. Bronson grew up in a sports-focused family, excelled in football and basketball at BYU, and earned a degree in Statistics & Analytics. Drafted in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft, he played for teams like the Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets, and Green Bay Packers during his six-year NFL career.
After retiring from the NFL, Bronson transitioned into business, leading investor relations at Harris Investment Group and supporting athletes as Head of Player Development for OG1 Athletes. He mentors athletes in financial literacy and life after sports, emphasizing leadership and community impact. Active in real estate and mentoring, Bronson also serves on boards like the NFL Players Association Utah Chapter. Married to his college sweetheart, Hilary, a former BYU soccer star, they raise their three children while fostering sports and wellness in their community.
