PART 1
On this weeks episode we are hanging out with Marcus Chapman again as we spit ball and discuss the upcoming journey of taking the show in a new direction of helping men and ultimately helping women by giving them back a Godly man. We are breaking down, "What it means to be a Man", "What it means to be a Godly Man", and how to achieve this.
It's no secret that Men have been under attack since creation, all the way back to Adam. God came looking for Adam in the garden and what did he do? He blamed the serpent & the woman God gave him, instead of owning up to his failure by not being the leader, and keeping Eve from manipulation.
In our lifetime, we have never seen men be so scrutinized as they have been the last 4-5 years. We see it in the media, on the internet and in society.
"Men" or the human male species has been demonized so heavily in todays culture. If you aren't a 6ft + tall King and make $100K a year, women shun you. If you open doors or offer to pay for dinner, you are looked at as chauvinistic, but on the other hand if you don't do these things you are a JERK!
Society today ahs feminized the male persona in fashion, sports, cinema etc. to the point that men are trying to be women. Society ahs made being a "Man" as something wrong. Which ironically, destroys everything women and the feminism movement has worked for over the last 50 years, as equals in society.
We've seen a movement being heavily praised and allowing men in women's restrooms, wearing women's clothing & makeup and women's sports all while giving praise to these people for being so brave, yet we fail to see what it is taking away from women in society. We have become so confused & blinded by a movement, that we fail to see that what it is doing is giving power to "men" in the name of feminism and taking power away from women.
We have witnessed men growing up without fathers, and this is encouraged in society by saying "hey be a single mom, you rock", sleep with whomever you want there is no repercussions, etc., yet what we find is a generation of men who are raised by women, (not that it is a bad thing, I was raised without a father and all you single mom's are rock stars), but in doing so they are never taught what a man's role in society is or what it takes to be a man or father. So men just bail on responsibility.
We have gone from "Men don't cry or show any emotion, rub some dirt on it" to men that don't know how to treat a lady or don't know what to expect from a woman and both end up in a cycle of abuse.
We know this is a touchy topic and we aren't trying to ruffle any feathers, but being a Man isn't a bad thing. Men are protectors & providers, but so much more than that, also. We are leaders that know how to serve the people around us. We take care of others and ourselves.
Our goal with this episode and the future of the show is to help instruct men on how to be in touch with their feelings, but also how to keep their emotions in check and to reach out for help if needed. We want to show men that we need to lead in our homes, churches & in society as well as lifting each other up when we are struggling. We hope to teach men how to cope & compete in society in the realm of the male species without having to take over the female side.
