Description

Kara goes into a rant about how unpleasant the corporate onboarding experience is, especially as an "other" such as a woman in tech.  JoCee provides the scientific reasons why it is painful to not fit into a group, and just how social we are as humans.

Newsflash: onboarding doesn’t have to be painful!  We review  some actions managers can/should do to improve onboarding for their employees,  as well as what you can do as an individual to onboard effectively, and build community while doing it!
