Today John Oxley and I welcome Mark Tweedie. Currently the chief executive of Brimham's Active in Harrogate and often referred to by those in the know as the architect or God father of pivot to active well -being as a result of his work at Active Tameside.
Mark outlines his journey to date through sports development initially, through to his ground breaking work with Active Tameside and how he successfully developed the template for how to work with health and social care in different guises ever since.
As a former CEO of Community Leisure UK, Mark had a national platform, and I can't help but feel that it would be great to have him back in some national role in the future, but for now, please enjoy the fascinating story of my good friend Mark Tweedie.
