In the inaugural episode of Mangled Movie Madness, we start the month's theme of "Films about the Music Fans" with Walter Hill's 1986 film "Crossroads."
The film follows the story of delta blues legend Robert Johnson's deal with the devil at the crossroads in rural Mississippi, where Johnson exchanged his soul for mastery of the blues.
A young boy, Eugene Martone, travels from Long Island to the crossroads with one of Robert Johnson's old friends, Willie Brown, in an effort to become a blues master and record Robert Johnson's lost 30th song.
