Despite having many analyst related guests on the channel so far, Matty is the first that is currently working as an academy analyst.
Heading up the academy department at Middlesbrough, Matty tells me about his journey from interning at Leeds, undertaking a Masters degree and ending up at Middlesbrough.
Since joining Boro, Matty has worked up the age groups and currently. spends a lot of his time working with the U21s.
