With Amendment 3 passing with a 51.7% margin in Mo., we were made aware of the need for more women to discover the hope they can have when facing an unplanned pregnancy. To that end, we were able to sneak in an interview with Cindy Speer, the President of the the Oasis Pregnancy Resource Center (located in Troy, MO.) and hear her story of being a teen mother and how she offers hope and encouragement to girls and women of all ages who find themselves in similar situations. While we had to overcome a quick sound glitch (our apologies!) we encourage all believers to tune in to discover how they to can serve as a source of love, hope, and discover a local resource to send women to in order to find real and tangible help in their time of need. Also - YOU'RE INVITED to their Open House happening THIS FRIDAY from 3-6pm (ribbon cutting at 3) at their brand new facility located at 16 Snyder Rd., Troy Mo., where you can snag a tour and be educated on all they offer the Lincoln County community (but not exclusive to). Further, we'd also encourage all local faith leaders to come on out on Friday or (at minimum) schedule a tour for your team.
