The City of Beverly Hills is kicking off their first ever Pride celebration! This Pride Spotlight features a conversation with Ben Johnson, the City of Beverly Hills’ Manager of Arts & Culture for the Community Services Department. Tracy and Ben talk about the significance of this inaugural event and the program slate including Beverly Hills Pride at Greystone Mansion: Gina Young's SORORITY Salon on Wednesday, June 8th celebrating the rich history of Beverly Hills and the 1920's art salons.
The City of Beverly Hills’ inaugural Pride celebration is part of the City’s Embrace & Celebrate Culture Initiative, an inter-commission collaboration of the City of Beverly Hills’ Arts and Culture and Human Relations Commissions, Next Beverly Hills Committee and the Community Services Department.
Be sure to pop into Beverly Hills during the evening to view the Pride Lighting of City Hall and Civic Center (June 1 - June 12) and capture a photo to share with your friends of the palm trees flanking City Hall adorned with Pride lights.
