This week Tye (@dr.tyedmartin) and Marilyn (@marilynbaileyphd) are joined by Andrew Gurza (@instagurza) who is a Digital creator, Disability Awareness Consultant, and is severely disabled.Our conversation with Andrew covers several topics that are often unmentioned or excluded when it comes to disabilities including severe disabilities like Cerebral Palsy, ableism within the disability and queer communities, alternative income opportunities, toiletry/hygiene experiences, and living as an adult with human desire for sex/intimacy. It’s important to realize that we are all linked by disability in one way or another during our lifetimes. Bringing kindness with avoidance of stigma is essential for inclusion of all voices.
