Description

Today’s edition of The TyePod features my conversation with Zoe Harrison! She shares her experiences with muscular dystrophy (MD), her hobbies, and her career transition. I have had the opportunity to chat with Zoe on several occasions and appreciate her perspective!

We discuss the challenges of finding suitable personal assistants (PAs) and the importance of clear communication and safety measures. She emphasizes the need for better support systems and resources for people with disabilities. Zoe also promotes her podcast, "Dystrophy Diaries," aimed at providing support and sharing experiences within the disability community.

If you want to learn more about Zoe’s story you can follow her on Instagram @dystrophydiaries!

Next time on The TyePod I talk with Michelle Ballasiotes (@michelle_ballasiotes) who is a pediatric occupational therapist living with a form of cerebral palsy.
