Description

Michelle Balliasotes is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist who survived a stroke before birth and lives with hemiplegia. She joins The TyePod to share her perspective on becoming a Pediatric OT and the diverse range of patients she works with now!

One topic that I was curious about was Michelle’s podcast experience during a previous class project. She described her approach to interviews that focused on disabled dating experiences, which I know can be a challenging experience for our community.

I hope everyone enjoys listening to Michelle’s story and I encourage you to give her a follow on Instagram @michelle_ballasiotes!

Next time on The TyePod I talk with Caroline Hughes (@accessible.yoga.practices) who is an Adaptive Fitness Specialist!
