Scripture: Matthew 5:1–12
Jesus climbs a mountain and blesses the poor in spirit, the grieving, the meek, the hungry for justice. These words do not flatter. They overturn the world's logic. This Sunday we ask what it means to be formed by blessings that sound like contradictions. How do the Beatitudes shape the way we see power, comfort, and mercy? What does a community look like when it trusts these promises? We will receive these words as our pattern for living, then ask where they lead us.
