What is Art? How do you know if you are making it? Is there a valid reason for having "Art" defined? Wouldn't everyone have a different opinion of what Art is?

What do you think Art is?
Can't art just be a soul's expression? And wouldn't your soul be called to stand and marvel at whatever resonates and vibrates with it? A song, a quilt, a sculpture, a dance, a building, a dress, a loaf of bread, a canyon, a sunset ... a soul starts to sing and Art is born.

📓 CREATIVE JOURNAL EXERCISE
1. Cut out, from magazines or images, at least five unrelated items (like...an umbrella, a giraffe, a spoon, a train, and a radish)
2. Look at these five items and decide what type of background they would go on (the beach, a mountain, in a mouth...use your imagination.
3. Arrange these five items on the page as if they were somehow connected.
