Due to frustrations with the healthcare system, Dr. Ramakko quit his
long time college teaching job to relentlessly seek out answers. Now
armed with knowledge and clinical experience he tries to share this
wisdom as much as humanly possible so that others aren't stuck
suffering like he was. He is an expert in musculoskeletal diagnosis and
management with a particular emphasis on chronic pain. He tries to
help educate physicians AND he tries to educate the general public. He
believes patients can be more active in their health management when
given basic understanding.
While starting his healthcare education with just a BS in Human Biology, he has gone on to become
a board-certified neuromusculoskeletal medicine specialist, obtained physician-level certification in
MSK sonography, and is a board-certified lifestyle medicine professional. Some of his credentials:
MS, DC, DIANM, RMSK, and DipIBLM. In early 2024 he published his first book: "Pain is Not a
Life Sentence: A Guide to Understanding and Eliminating Chronic Muscle, Joint, and Nerve Pain",
an Amazon bestselling book in the musculoskeletal diseases category.
