Husky Talk- Conversations With Cully and Conlon returns. Maria Conlon is a hater of free time, and I agree with her! We feel like there is something we are missing or should be doing, and it can be difficult to relax.

Maria loves the NFL, we talked about this past weekend, and she loves watching Lamar Jackson play, Aaron Rogers losing again for the Jets, and Patrick Mahomes continues to win for the Chiefs. She is also is a fan of the Lions and has enjoyed their dominance.

We start on the WNBA with a whopping 7 coaches who have been fired since the end of the season. One of the most shocking was Stephanie White pf the Connecticut Sun who were the top seed in the league for a while before eventually dropping to the 3rd seed and losing in the playoffs to defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces.

Then 2 days ago, the Indiana Fever fired head coach Christine Sides who got the Indiana Fever to the play-offs for the first time since 2016 and were a 6 seed. Maria believes there was a disconnect between sides at Caitlin Clark, which was visible most of the season. Maria thinks CC could have played a role in management making a change.

We look at some of the lingering questions for the upcoming women's college basketball season. Along with the excitement of coaching her first college scrimmage and game in 2 short weeks.

Procyon Partners and President Sean Rabinowitz were my first sponsors. Sean believed in me, took a chance advertising with me, and I will always be grateful for his support. On November 2nd they are having Bone Marrow testing done at the Branford Cross fit from 8:30am to 1pm. It’s a quick swab of the cheek and will help provide the treatment Ben needs. Let’s show up for Ben and Be The Match, we need everyone to be tested. Ben is a great kid, with no fear, tougher than a 2-dollar steak, we need to come together because we are a family at UConn. Sean and his wife deserve our help and support, be there for Ben!

UConn Football is on the verge of becoming bowl eligible because of Mike Burton and his team been raising money for Bleeding Blue For Good. Donate $400 or $500 dollars, as long as more people give, we will have continued success. I have seen tremendous improvement and the outstanding talent we brought in. Please go to www.bleedingblueforgood.org and donate.
Pete Finch and The Finch Firm LLC is our newest sponsor, and we are thrilled to have Peter. Based in Bridgeport, Connecticut, The Finch Firm can help if you were injured in an accident, arrested, feel your rights have been violated. In a pinch? CALL FINCH!
