She has a few division 2 transfers mixed in with a freshmen class who is going to make a difference. Tough decisions will have to be made in the fall because they can keep 18 kids and have around 23 on the roster now. It will come down to who goes home and puts in the work to improve. Maria said there is no favoritism, all spots will be earned, and they have a mindset for the post season run.
She definitely hates cutting people but Maria as the head ball coach is going to do what's best for the team and culture of their program.
