Husky Talk- Conversations With Cully and Conlon return's with UConn Legend Maria Conlon. We talk about the Superbowl, Maria being disappointed we didn't see a great game, the Halftime show may have been the best part, and she was in Maine while watching.
It has been a challenging season for Maria all around as head Women's Basketball coach of the Western Connecticut State University Wolves. She has a young team who is improving, its difficult for a perennial winner her entire career playing and coaching to rebuild the program.
This is only the beginning and her team is young, the next few years will show the type of incredible coach she is. We also hit on the UConn Women's Basketball team taking a tough loss at Tennessee. Maria expected a close game, unfortunately the Big East Conference is not talented, so when they have to play top teams its an adjustment.
