We are excited to share our first episode of 2023 with Dr. Amanda Sharp! Dr. Sharp is a physical therapist with board certification in geriatric physical therapy, an assistant professor, as well as associate director & director of student affairs in the Division of Physical Therapy at the University of Minnesota Medical School. In this episode, Dr. Sharp shares about her background, the importance of advocacy when working with older adults, special considerations when working with this population, and advice she has for students who are interested in geriatric physical therapy.
