Today, Michelle sat down with the incredible Dr Angela Meadows to discuss weight stigma, how it can potentially impact physical activity and eating behaviours and the best ways for health and fitness professionals to adopt a more weight neutral approach.
Dr Angela Meadows is currently a lecturer at the University of Essex. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Birmingham alongside an MSc in Weight Management. She has completed post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Exeter and Western University in Ontario, Canada. She is also the founder of the International Annual Weight Stigma Conference.
