Welcome all to the DrumQuig Podcast Episode 15! In this episode, we branched beyond the US to bring you our first international guest and drummer for Royal Sorrow, Janne Mieskonen! This was a super fun episode to plan and film given the seven, yes seven, hour time difference between myself and Janne but we made it work. We got right to how exciting it has been for his band Royal Sorrow and their first album release coming up on September 26th, available in VINYL, which looks incredible by the way. Janne and I talked about his inspiration, how long he's been drumming, how he found his current bandmates, and what this journey has been like leaking up to the debut album release and subsequent tour with Leprous later this year. We talked music, Dream Theater, Metallica and what band would be his dream band to tour with.This was so much fun and Janne was such a solid individual and I had a blast speaking with him.
