In this instalment of The Badlands, I’m talking with Rachel King, Rachel is a highly experienced Creative Director with 3 decades working at the BBC and ITV with stints at other broadcasters to boot.
However in spite of all that history and experience she still finds herself in the Badlands for the first time in her career after an out of the blue redundancy.
We discuss her time as a Creative leader, what she is looking for moving forwards, dealing with redundancy, the challenges and shift in mindset required to keep going. The importance of a network and mentoring along with trying to offer up some tips and advice for anyone else in the Badlands.
