Welcome to the Men's Breakfast Podcast, where we're all about iron sharpening iron! In this week's episode we hear the ramblings of a mad-man from deep within his dark basement, discussing with mild coherency the fact that Halloween tends to inspire an awareness of our inherent sense of the NUMINOUS, particularly as described by CS Lewis in his lecture on "The Problem of Pain". Why are we intrigued by and drawn to ghost stories, the "uncanny", and those things that inspire more than the usual fear, but rather dread or awe? We might argue that it's because something within each of us is pulling us toward the spiritual (yes, the very Spirit of our Creator); it resonates inside us and is at the core of who we are, whether we acknowledge it or not.
