“Healing is Silent Growth”

Of Dirt & Wildflowers: A Podcast

Hosted by Kylee Jean Marshall

In today’s episode, “Healing is Silent Growth,” we will dig into the dirt of life in order to better understand that dark, not visible place where healing quietly, silently takes place.

Nobody talks about how lonely healing can feel. Like an iceberg, trauma is half visible and half hidden. We only allow so much to be seen; and so when it comes to healing, we are the only person who knows what is below the surface that needs to be dealt with.

When you finish listening, you will have a better understanding…of not only why healing is silent growth but why it is essential to our journey.

If today’s episode resonated with you, I would love to hear from you! Please send me an email at kyleejeanmarshall@gmail.com.

I truly believe in the power of journaling and its power to help us in making personal connections and in creating meaning to help us grow. Below are connected journaling prompts for today’s episode.

1. Consider an event or incident in your life that broke you in some way. What did others see/understand about it? What can you honestly say you never talked about in regards to the event or incident?

2. Why do you think you personally keep feelings and thoughts to yourself?

3. How do you see yourself silently healing? What is below the surface that you are able to sit with?

Be well! Love you, my friends.
