Indy 500 recap: after a 4 hour rain delay, Joseph Newgarden goes back to back!! Pulls a last lap pass on Pato O’Ward in turn 3 to take his 2nd Indy 500 victory. Got caught speeding on pit road during his first live green flag stop, did lead laps running on strategy but had to pit and was relegated to an 18th place finish
Coke 600 recap: more like the Coke 370. Ty Gibbs started on pole, led most of stage 1, stage 2 ends under caution, stage 3 rain comes just as Kyle Larson arrives at track. After a 2 1/2 hour red flag and track drying attempt, nascar decides to pull the plug despite the track being 3/4 of the way dry. This decision leaves fans and drivers alike very confused. And a lot of not all of the mad at fan base was left very peeved. In wake of the controversial finish, C Bell gets the win. Nascar reason? Or did TV make the decision?
