In this episode of DreamMachine, Arun and Patricia discuss about the 2012 DreamWorks animated film, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, the third film of the Madagascar series. The movie takes place after Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa where the penguins leave Alex, Marty, Melman, and Gloria behind in Madagascar as they fly away with the fixed airplane to Monte Carlo. Eventually, they decide to leave Africa to go to Monte Carlo so they can find a way to go home to New York City. Along the way, they meet up with a group of animals from a failing circus that the penguins just purchased with a train that might lead them back to America. In order to accomplish that, Alex and the gang puts the animals into being great circus performers. But they must deal with a crazy police officer trying to capture Alex for her animal collection and keeping their secret as zoo animals to the circus animals. Will they return home to New York or will they accept their new life in the circus?
When this movie premiered, it was a financial success making over $746 million dollars making the highest grossing of the Madagascar series and the fourth highest grossing DreamWorks animated film.
