Ren Alessandra (now Wren Rapture) is an Italo-Australian poet and educator based in Naarm. As a national award winning, highly commissioned spoken word artist and literary judge, she intersects her passion with twelve years teaching experience to facilitate Wordcraft; a storytelling collective where we celebrate our stories raw and in process.
Wordcraft facilitates open mics, slams, writing courses, school and council programs and commissions spreading the inclusive magic of spoken word poetry.
Ren believes in the medicine of storytelling and has dedicated her life to her artistic pursuit.
