This episode is part one to my personal story, + dives deeper into my vulnerable heart space than any episode I've shared with you, yet! After a series of requests for me to talk more about my experiences growing up, + the ways those experiences shaped me through different struggles in my life, I'm excited to share the first bit of that journey with you. Above any other fears + emotions I have about sharing such a personal part of my story with you here, I feel such a calm feeling of relief, because I know there are so many young + old humans living with the residue from a difficult upbringing; the survival tactics that are keeping them from thriving. It's been very healing for me to talk out loud about the parts of myself + my story that I've always struggled to face head-on, + I hope it can provoke a series of healing thoughts + actions in your life, too.
