we're divin' RIGHT into my perspective + opinions on the toxic ideals of professionalism that are passed around, + the ways we're trained to be "presentable" from such early ages of elementary school by toning ourselves down, + covering ourselves up. from experiences while I was growing up, to expectations put on me in the name of being "professional" as an adult, I'm speaking on the different ways society + career paths have trained my mind (+ the minds of so many others) to believe that things about us must be changed, altered, or hidden in order to be more presentable to the masses.
