The exploitation of Africans on the global scale is a complex, multifaceted phenomenon with roots deeply entrenched in history. While the actors and methods of exploitation have evolved over time, the underlying issue remains pervasive. It is an inconvenient truth that requires the combined efforts of African leadership, grassroots movements, international policy reform, and a profound shift in global attitudes toward Africa and its peoples. Only through a concerted and inclusive approach can we begin to undo the centuries of damage and move towards a future where the African continent is an equal partner on the global stage.
