Trees stand here rooted and immovable, submerged as though undersea, graceful and gentle revealers of the breeze.
Could elephants be trees in disguise? Reborn in flesh. Animated and grand among the others. I wonder if they existed everywhere before. Watching. Guiding. Protecting. Paving the paths for our journeys through wildernesses. Subjecting themselves to our dominion. Feigning "tame" until the opportune time. Oh wise and ancient the elephant and tree.
